On October 7, San Diego’s Pechanga Arena will host BELLATOR 300, a historic event featuring four massive world championship fights. This event marks the culmination of over 14 years of mixed martial arts excellence for BELLATOR, and it promises to be an epic night of fights.
The main event of the evening will see BELLATOR’s reigning Heavyweight World Champion, Ryan Bader, defend his belt in a highly anticipated rematch against No. 1-ranked Linton Vassell. Bader, who has held the heavyweight title for nearly half a decade, will look to extend his unmatched longevity atop the division by turning back Vassell six years after their first fight.
In the co-main event, the top pound-for-pound female fighter in the world, Cris Cyborg, will face off against No. 1-ranked Cat Zingano in a grudge match between two of the most recognizable athletes on the planet. Cyborg, who holds championships in BELLATOR, the UFC, Strikeforce, and Invicta FC, will put her featherweight world title on the line against Zingano.
The one-million-dollar BELLATOR Lightweight World Grand Prix continues at BELLATOR 300, as incumbent champion Usman Nurmagomedov puts his belt and undefeated record on the line against former champion Brent Primus in a semifinal matchup. Nurmagomedov, cousin of MMA legend Khabib Nurmagomedov, hopes to defeat his third straight world champion opponent and continue his rise in the lightweight division.
Finally, two of San Diego’s top fighters, Liz Carmouche and Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, will collide in a highly anticipated battle. Carmouche, the reigning flyweight world champion, will defend her belt against Macfarlane, a former world champion and close friend and training partner of Carmouche.
