Excitement is brewing as sixteen talented martial artists from Burns School of Black Belts (BSBB) have secured their spots to represent Team GB at the upcoming world championships in Carrara, Italy. These young fighters are now on a mission to raise funds for their journey, showcasing dedication and passion for their sport.

Lewis Stubbs: A Rising Star

One of the aspiring competitors, Lewis Stubbs, aged 15, hailing from Wallsend, is eager to showcase his skills on the global stage. Lewis, who has been practicing kickboxing since 2019, emphasizes the importance of hard work and determination in achieving his goals. He expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming competition, highlighting how kickboxing has not only improved his physical health but also forged lasting friendships.

Martial arts, encompassing disciplines like kickboxing, judo, taekwondo, karate, and ju-jitsu, require immense dedication and perseverance.
