Unfortunately, Vlad Belonogov’s opponent withdrew from the fight, leaving him without an opportunity to compete. Pride Gym owner/trainer, Glen Kalesniko, expressed disappointment but praised the dedication of the gym’s members and fight team. Keanan Patershuk, one of the coaches, is set to return to the cage on November 3 in Tunica, Miss. His opponent will be announced soon.

George showcased his expertise in the first round, defeating Shane Mangis of Spokane Wa. with a submission move after executing a flawless high crotch takedown.

With Mangis on his back, George skillfully maintained his top position and transitioned into a Von Flue choke attempt, which ultimately turned into an arm triangle choke, forcing Mangis to tap out at the one-minute 36-second mark of Round 1.

Pride Gym, known for its talented fighters, also had another fighter, Vlad Belonogov, scheduled to compete in his first Mixed Martial Arts fight. Unfortunately, his opponent withdrew from the fight the day before, leaving Belonogov disappointed but determined to prepare for his next opportunity in the near future.

Glen Kalesniko, the owner and trainer of Pride Gym, expressed his disappointment regarding Belonogov’s situation and thanked all the Pride Gym members and fight team for their support and dedication in preparing Jakob and Vlad for their competitions. It is worth noting that Keanan Patershuk, one of the coaches mentioned, is set to return to the cage on November 3 in Tunica, Miss. His opponent for the upcoming fight will be announced soon. This fight comes after Keanan’s previous opponent backed out on the day of the fight during his last bout in Philadelphia.
