The Battle of Bare Knuckles
Next week, former UFC fighters Mike Perry and Eddie Alvarez will face off in the main event of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 56 (BKFC 56). The event, set to take place at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, will determine the "King of Violence" title.
Since joining BKFC, Alvarez has been boasting about his street fight record, claiming to have been in more street fights than MMA fights – a total of 40. However, Perry, known for his knockout power, finds this claim amusing.
"Come on, man. We all saw Jersey Shore, bro," Perry said in a recent interview with MMAMania.com. "Those guys weren’t really fighting out there like we do. So, Eddie, let me make it clear, I’m not just a street fighter. This is a whole different level. I end those fights in seconds. And for this one, I’m going to do the same. It’s going to be easy work, bro."
While Perry has his own share of street fight experiences, including knocking out a drunk guy outside a bar, the focus now is on their upcoming bare-knuckle brawl. Both fighters are confident in their abilities, with Perry vowing to finish Alvarez.
"I’m going to bust him up, dog," Perry confidently stated.
