Bellator MMA has announced its new streaming home after being acquired by the Professional Fighters League (PFL). The U.S. media rights for Bellator will now be held by Warner Bros. Discovery. The upcoming "Bellator Champions Series" events will be aired on Max, a platform with over 90 million subscribers. The first event, Bellator Belfast, is scheduled for this Friday in Northern Ireland. In addition to Max, TNT Sports will also broadcast Bellator content throughout the year. Subscribers will have access to new docuseries and the Bellator fight library.
Bellator Belfast Fight Card
The Bellator Belfast event will feature a highly anticipated Light Heavyweight title fight between Corey Anderson and Karl Moore. Anderson, who has previously fallen short in two attempts to win the title, will face Moore, a hometown favorite, who is on a four-fight win streak. The co-main event will see Patricio Pitbull defend his Featherweight title against Jeremy Kennedy. Pitbull, currently on a two-fight losing streak, will aim to bounce back against Kennedy, a seasoned veteran with a three-fight win streak.
Other exciting matchups on the card include former Middleweight title contender Fabian Edwards taking on Aaron Jeffery, and James Gallagher facing off against Leandro Higo in a pivotal Featherweight bout. The main card will kick off with a Lightweight fight between Tim Wilde and Manouel Sousa.
PFL and Bellator MMA Media Rights
Apart from the Warner Bros. Discovery deal, PFL has also secured a multi-year media rights agreement with ESPN. ESPN will stream PFL’s regular season leading up to the world championships on ESPN+. Additionally, ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) will be the exclusive platform for PFL’s "Super Fight" division in 2024.
