Douglas Lima stopped Michael Venom Page at Bellator 221 event and in the semifinals of Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix. With this win, Lima will move to the Bellator WGP finals and will face the winner Rory MacDonald vs. Neiman Gracie!
Michael “Venom” Page started a fight really good, Lima was having trouble finding the range but he did score a takedown with no serious damage for Page.
In the second round Page scores good right hand which lands behind the Limas’s ear and he looked rocked. Page started to closing the distance and pressing Lima but then Lima lands a strong low-kick and which puts Page out of the balance completely. Page landed on canvas in full body flat line, quickly he started to get up but did exposed his chin by doing so. Lima lands a right hook directly on Michael’s chin, and his body collapse in the middle of getting up. Lima landed two more shots in unconscious opponent and referee jumped in to stop the fight.
