Curtis Blades stopped Junior dos Santos in second round by landing a perfect right hand on Junior’s chin. Yes, no wrestling, just pure striking led Curtis to victory.
Curtis managed to land couple of good punches in round 1. He also tried to score a couple of takedowns but hey all have been stopped by dos Santos. But those punches are the one to be worried for JDS, he did not expect that. Now the problem for JDS is not just wrestling, which is the strongest trick in the bag for Blades, but also those punches that are actually landing.
In the round 2, Blades continued throwing those hands. He faint the takedown, just a little shoulder move, JDS reacted and Blades landed perfect right hand on JDS chin. JDS cover himself up, and Blades rushed in landing punches. No reaction from JDS and referee stopped the fight.
