The recent triumph follows Rinchen’s impressive third-round TKO win against Sherzod Kapralov at Bloodline Fight Series 1 on May 14, 2023. However, Rinchen’s road to victory was not without its challenges. Making his debut at Fightstar Championship 14 on April 14, 2018, Rinchen faced Ghenadie Buliza and suffered a loss through a split decision. Despite this setback, Rinchen remained committed to his craft and continued to push forward.

In subsequent bouts, Rinchen encountered tough opponents, resulting in unanimous decision losses against Popa Cornel Lonet on December 14, 2019, and Flobatar Fares on November 6, 2021. However, his unwavering dedication paid off when he secured a unanimous decision win over Aydin Berk at Contenders 32 on April 2, 2022.

Rinchen’s journey reached another milestone when he faced Oscar Ferydooni at Fightster Championship 22 on July 15, 2022. Although he experienced another unanimous decision loss, Rinchen used each experience as an opportunity for growth, showcasing his resilience and unwavering commitment to the sport.

Hailing from London, United Kingdom, Rinchen Griffithsgolha takes immense pride in representing his multicultural heritage. With a Tibetan father from Kham and a mother of mixed heritage from different parts of the world, Rinchen embraces his roots and proudly carries the Tibetan flag on the professional stage.

Reflecting on his challenging journey, Rinchen shared, ‘My journey through MMA has been quite difficult. I have faced numerous injuries during my training and have also suffered losses in my career. However, I have continued to improve fight after fight.’ Rinchen’s perseverance and determination have garnered him a strong following within the Tibetan community, who steadfastly support him and counter any negativity he encounters, particularly from Chinese trolls on social media.

Looking towards the future, Rinchen aspires to turn professional and represent Tibet, holding the Tibetan flag high on the international stage. His long-term goals reflect his unwavering dedication to his heritage and his desire to inspire others.

Rinchen Griffithsgolha’s victory in the ‘Call Out Championship’ flyweight amateur title bout solidifies his position as a rising star in the world of mixed martial arts.
