Featherweight Title Clash
In an exciting showdown at UFC 298, Alexander Volkanovski is ready to defend his featherweight title once again. The reigning champion successfully made weight at the official weigh-ins, setting the stage for a thrilling clash with undefeated challenger Ilia Topuria. The main card also features middleweight contenders Robert Whittaker and Paulo Costa, as well as intense matchups between Geoff Neal and Ian Machado Garry, and Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Cejudo.
Preliminary Drama
While the main card participants all made weight, the preliminary portion of the card saw some last-minute changes. Marcos Rogerio de Lima lost his scheduled opponent, Justin Tafa, to injury, but fortunately, Tafa’s brother Junior stepped in to accept the bout. Mackenzie Dern , who replaced Tatiana Suarez on short notice, arrived with energy and successfully weighed in for her strawweight bout against Amanda Lemos.
