Nate Diaz Considering Return to UFC
Nate Diaz, the former UFC star, expressed his interest in returning to mixed martial arts at the highly anticipated UFC 300 event. Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Diaz mentioned his willingness to compete at the landmark event, although he is uncertain about potential opponents. UFC 300 is scheduled to take place on April 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Diaz’s departure from the promotion occurred in the fall of 2022 after he became a free agent following his victory over Tony Ferguson at UFC 279. Known for his memorable battles against Conor McGregor in 2016, Diaz has been one of the top pay-per-view sellers in UFC history. Since leaving the UFC, Diaz has only competed once, in a professional boxing match against YouTuber-turned-prizefighter Jake Paul in August, where he suffered a unanimous decision loss.
While three fights have already been announced for UFC 300 , the main event has yet to be determined.
