What a fight! Vicente Luque and Mike Perry throw everything they got to each other but the kitchen sink. Guys started throwing heymakers from the first second of the fight, they just choose to fight in stand-up position all the fight.
“Show him who is the best striker” – said Henri Hooft, cornerman of Mike Perry, at the beginning of round 3.
It was a very close fight, but maybe deciding moment was a flaying knee from Luqe at last minute of round 3 – Perry eat it turn into a takedown but ended up in a guillotine choke attempt from Luqe. Blood started to poring out of the Perry’s nose and it become clear that something is wrong with his nose.
When the fight was over, Mike stood up and we saw this:

At the end, judges score was the split decision victory for Vicente Luque: 29-28, 28-29, 29-28.
In a post fight interview, Luque called out Wonderboy:
“I think I’ve proved my point. I’m ready to face anyone in the top 10. I know Wonderboy doesn’t have a fight lined up right now. I’m up to it November (or) December, whenever he wants to I’m up to go there and throw down with him.”
