Unfortunately, AJ McKee will be withdrawing from the Belterra portion of the event due to an injury. Scott Coker will provide more details on this matter. This is a common occurrence in the sport, and we wish AJ McKee a speedy recovery. As a result, he will be eliminated from the tournament, but will remain as the first alternate.
However, we have a new fighter joining the tournament and entering the quarterfinals against Pitbull. Roberto de Souza , the rising champion, will now be fighting in the quarterfinals and entering the Bellator World Grand Prix lightweight tournament. This is an exciting addition for the Japanese fans, and we look forward to a great fight this Sunday.
