PFL Playoffs 1 Weigh-In Results: Pinedo and Diggs Miss Weight
The Professional Fighters League (PFL) post-season kicks off in San Antonio with the official weigh-ins. Eighteen fighters successfully made weight, while two fighters, Jesus Pinedo and Keoni Diggs, missed the mark.
Pinedo, the main event featherweight fighter, came in slightly heavy at 146.4 pounds, 0.4 pounds over the divisional limit. As a result, Pinedo will be deducted a point in Friday’s scoring against Bubba Jenkins. However, this deduction will not apply to the official Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) result.
Diggs, a lightweight fighter from Hawaii, also missed weight by 0.4 pounds, weighing in at 156.4 pounds for his bout against Elvin Espinosa on the main card.
