Denice Zamboanga has witnessed the determination of her close friend, Stamp Fairtex, as she inches closer to becoming a three-sport world champion. With another shot at mixed martial arts gold, Stamp is mentally prepared for her impending task.

On September 29, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Stamp will face off against Ham Seo Hee for the ONE interim women’s atomweight world title at ONE Fight Night 14 : Stamp vs. Ham. This highly anticipated event will be available for streaming on Prime Video.

In an exclusive interview with The MMA Superfan, Zamboanga expressed her confidence in Stamp’s relentless pursuit of victory. "Yeah, I think so. She’s been wanting to get that atomweight belt in mixed martial arts for so long now. She’s hungrier and more motivated to make history."

Stamp burst onto the scene in 2018 when she joined ONE Championship. By her third fight, she had already claimed the ONE atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world titles. Now, she has set her sights on MMA and came incredibly close to capturing the ONE women’s atomweight world title from Angela Lee in March 2022.

During their encounter at ONE X, Stamp landed a devastating left hook to Lee’s body in the first round. It seemed like victory was within her grasp, but Lee showed resilience and ultimately submitted Stamp with a rear-naked choke in the second round.

Undeterred by this setback, Stamp bounced back with three consecutive wins, culminating in a second-round technical knockout victory over Alyse Anderson at ONE Fight Night 10 in Denver.

ONE Fight Night 14 marks the ninth Amazon card of the year for ONE Championship. Prime Video subscribers in North America can enjoy the event live and free.
