Stephen Loman Prepares for Toughest Challenge Against John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 14

Get ready for an epic showdown as Stephen Loman takes on John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 14. Find out how Loman plans to overcome Lineker’s ‘Hands of Stone’ and secure victory.

Second-ranked ONE bantamweight MMA contender ‘The Sniper’ Stephen Loman of the Philippines is gearing up for what could be the most difficult test of his mixed martial arts career. Loman is set to go head-to-head with former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion and current no.1-ranked contender ‘Hands of Stone’ John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham on Prime Video.

The highly-anticipated event is scheduled to take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore on Friday, September 29. Loman recently watched Lineker’s most recent fight against Kim Jae Woong at ONE Fight Night 13 and was far from impressed. He believes that Kim made some critical mistakes that ultimately led to his defeat.

In a recent interview with The MMA Superfan YouTube channel, Stephen Loman made a promise to himself not to repeat the same errors that Kim made against Lineker. He stated, "[Lineker] is going to throw powerful punches as long as there’s time on the clock. Kim Jae Woong didn’t anticipate it. I thought he would win the fight if it went to the judges’ scorecards, but he was knocked out. He didn’t see the punch coming."

Loman fully understands the danger that Lineker poses with his ‘Hands of Stone’ and plans to approach the fight with the utmost respect for his Brazilian opponent. He added, "I believe Lineker’s boxing will always be his strong suit, that’s where he secures his knockouts. However, I won’t underestimate him. The weaknesses he displayed in that fight were also exposed, and I intend to capitalize on them to gain an advantage."

Fans in the United States and Canada will have the opportunity to watch ONE Fight Night 14 for free on Amazon Prime Video.
