Conor McGregor and Michael Bisping, both former UFC champions, are currently in a heated Twitter exchange. Check out tweets timeline here:
Looks like it all started with the latest Bisping’s podcast “Believe You Me” episode where he talked with Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett, former Cage Warrior featherweight champion and new UFC prospect.
Discussing his future opponents, Bisping mentioned Conor McGregor (9) and said:
“God knows what is going on with him, when he gets of the Twitter and stop talking shit and decides he wants to fight and his legacy heal up and he can actually walk without limping…. you are the next man in line”
These comments are not something that Conor McGregor liked, what Bisping did is putting him in a conversation with newcomer who will have his first fight inside the octagon and it could actually be against Conor – who is currently ranked number 9. Comment about his legacy are the one that triggered Conor’s response.
“The only legacy I give a fuck about is the Legacy 5000 my mother flies around on.” – replied Conor in (now) deleted Tweet, alluding to a type of private jet “Legacy 5000”
And as we know, Bisping is a master of trash talking as well and response came very soon:
“Don’t know what’s getting deleted quicker. His tweets or his legacy.”
