Moreno’s decision comes after his split-decision loss to Brandon Royval in the UFC Fight Night 237 main event on February 24. Despite being a two-time title holder, Moreno admitted feeling frustrated with his current performance.

In an Instagram post, Moreno stated in Spanish, ‘I feel like I’m at a point in my life where I’m putting in the work, I’m dedicated, but the results just aren’t there, and it’s very frustrating.’

While it remains uncertain when Moreno will return to the octagon, his fans eagerly await his comeback.
