Las Vegas, Nevada – The 15th Annual Fighters Only World MMA Awards nominees have been announced, and fans from around the world can now cast their votes for their favorite fighters and moments in the sport. The voting website, WorldMMAAwards.com, is now live, giving fans the opportunity to voice their opinions and determine the winners.
Rob Hewitt, CEO of Fighters Only, expressed his excitement for reaching the 15-year milestone of the awards. He stated, ‘To see the growth of the sport during that time has filled me full of joy, and this year’s nominees are a true representation of this growth. It is the most international Awards in our history, and this year we will truly celebrate the best of MMA across the globe.’
The nomination period for the awards took place between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023. The independent panel of Fighters Only searched through all promotions and regions to select the nominees. Some of the highly anticipated award categories include ‘Fighter of the Year,’ ‘Knockout of the Year,’ ‘Fight of the Year,’ and the newly added ‘Fighting Spirit Award.’
Fighters Only is known for giving fans the power to vote for their favorite fighters, knockouts, and submissions. This year is no different, as fans can cast their votes through the voting website on their desktops, mobile devices, and smartphones.
