Tai Tuivasa gave it all, he was pushing Junior dos Santos for 3 rounds, gave him some hard beating, hurt his leg but he was pushing little bit too much. In 3rd round experience veteran JDS sow his chance and he counter Tai put him on canvas and from there it was only JDS. Junior took the mount position and start throwing bombs on Tai who look defenceless and referee stopped the fight.
This victory puts JDS back in closer to title fight talks, and after the fight he called out Alistair Overeem.

In the interview after the fight he said “Win is a win, whoever will be next i do not care i am coming back to my wife and my son.” Asked bout Alistair, he said “…now is the time for rematch, let’s go!”
