Roberto Soldic defeated Michal Pietrzak via unanimous decision after 3 rounds of fighting at the KWS 50 event in London. Michal Pietrzak went in as a replacement for injured Patrik Kincl at just 4 days notice. Roberto Soldic, actual KSW welterweight champion was an absolute favorite and everybody expected early win by KO from him.
Michal Pietrzak had different ideas, he realised what could this win bring to him so he was fighting a really good tactical fight, trying to not make any mistakes. But that was not enough, Soldic was better stand up fight, landing his left hand over and over and there was no answer from Pietrzak. Soldic was also defended couple of take downs forcing Pietrzak to fight in stand up position which he could not do much agains superior striking of current champion.
At the end, it was another win for champion Roberto Soldic, little bit harder then it was expected but definitely deserved and played on very high tactical level. With this win, Solidc now has ascore 17-3 (14 KO).
