Israel Adesanya gave an interview ahead of UFC 243 in Melbourne, Australia. In this interview he said he will fight Jon Jones in 2021. Jones strikes back with great vengeance and furious anger!
Israel Adesanya is fighting this weekend in Melbourne against UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker. Promoting the fight, he spoke with Oscar Willis of TheMacLife.com, and talking about his MMA career, he compare it to a video game where you have to fight a boss on each level. In this context he mentioned Jon Jones as a boss:
“Raiders Stadium, Las Vegas. That’s where it’s going to happen. I decided in July when I was in Vegas. Probably — the middleweight divisions getting stacked, I like Cannonier right now. Costa, I got to take care of, and a few others — I’m saying 2021. Probably early, yeah, because the way I fight, six fights in 18 months. I’ve just had a long break, I beat (Whittaker) in the first, second round. I get another fight straight away…”
Jon Jones obviously saw this interview and responded on twitter:
